Three weeks in Florida already and we are down in the Keys with a huge goal to hit all fifty states this year. This is state eleven for us and we have to visit Disney's Fort Wilderness before we can leave because everyone says it is the best. We have never been to Disney World or this campground and people told us newbies should stay away but we booked it anyway.

The check in was so easy and we just showed our ID to a nice guy at the gate. He did not say welcome home like some people say they do but he was very helpful with directions. We got first time visitor badges because we are total beginners and then we went to find our RV spot. The roads are a little tight for a big fifth wheel but we saw plenty of them parked just fine.

Setting up the van took some work since we had to dump the cassette and hook up the power. We have a brand new drinking water hose and the power pedestal looks good and I can even hear a train in the distance. Hillary made sure I turned the sink off and we had to dump a lot of gray water because we did a lot of dishes. We haven't dumped the tanks in ten days so it was definitely time for that chore.

Our last video got almost four thousand likes so we had to pull a lemon which is a game we play. We pulled the golden ticket which lets us skip a future penalty and it feels perfect since we are at the happiest place on earth. The rules are simple because if we get a thousand likes or subscribers we pull another lemon and keep the fun going.

The bathrooms here are very big and they have nice shelves for shampoo and little trash cans. It costs three dollars and twenty five cents for laundry which is not bad for Disney prices. We looked at the map to find where they keep the golf carts because you really need one to get around this huge place. We got so lucky because they have six hundred carts but they usually book up a year in advance for holidays.

It costs seventy five dollars a night for a cart but it is worth it because this park is over six hundred acres. There are eight hundred campsites and hundreds of cabins but it still feels very private and quiet. We found a secret hot tub and stayed for forty minutes before taking a very cold ride back to the van. Then we took a boat and a monorail to see the fireworks at nine which was a total surprise to us.

A friend who works for Disney helped us get into the parks and the first thing I did was buy some Mickey ears. We rode Space Mountain and It's a Small World and walked over three miles before lunch. We used Lightning Passes to skip lines and visited Epcot and Hollywood Studios all in one big day. It was very cold out but we had so much fun exploring everything for the first time.

The next morning we made Mickey Mouse pancakes and drank coffee while thinking about our mistakes. Our biggest rookie move was not booking the golf cart and the rides early enough. Once you park your rig you never have to drive it again because the boats and buses take you everywhere. This was a wild adventure and we are so grateful to be here.
